The best pediatric dentist. Period. Have been bringing my kids here for 10 years. Never pushy, very patient, and always takes time to educate while offering clear, simple recommendations.

Ignored most of my problems for two years straight. I had to be referred to another dentist and get a pretty intensive surgery given my teeth had been left to rot. Thanks, Moffitt!

We have DeltaCare insurance, so our options for dentistry are EXTREMELY limited. BrightNow referred my 11-year-old identical twins because they have had recurring problems with their teeth crumbling (soft enamel), so we were switched to Moffitt, due him being a pediatric specialist. Unbeknownst to me ahead of time, you have to specifically ask for teeth cleaning/prophy when you make an appointment for a preventative visit here. I have never had to specify we want their teeth cleaned when making a dentist appointment! Ridiculous! They treated the β€œreferral” as a separate issue and we had to make separate appointments for fillings, which I understand. But separate appointments for X-rays and cleaning is just a way to squeeze more money out of us. We were billed for three separate exams (which of course the insurance company wouldn’t cover all three) so we had to pay out of pocket. We shouldn’t need two exams for a preventative visit! Plus a third appointment for cavities. Their office is extremely outdated with old equipment and damaged furniture. He has a really nice staff, which is the only reason it isn’t being rated one star.

Dr. Moffitt and his staff have been incredibly friendly over the last 20+ years. My family appreciates his honesty, especially because he isn't the type to nickel and dime you. The front desk staff has always made us feel so welcome to be there. Thank you Moffitt Dental!

We immediately looked for another dentist after our first appointment here. Our previous dentist from our last town was great - and my 4 year old son's teeth have always been in excellent shape. The staff at Moffit were very nice, and the hygienist who cleaned my son's teeth was professional and kind. She remarked that they were in great shape. Dr. Moffit came and did an exam and said the same--His teeth looked great--no issues at all. And then he told me they were going to do X-rays. As the daughter of a radiologist, I have no problem with X-rays. But I do know they're overused in dentistry, and sometimes used to inflate the cost of an appointment. Given that my son is 4, not even close to his adult teeth coming in, and that the dentist had just said there were no issues, I declined the X-rays. Then suddenly the tone of the dentist was different. He stopped being as friendly. He claimed that maybe there were "secret cavities" we couldn't see, and that the x-rays were IMPERATIVE. (None of my son's other dentists have EVER mentioned that.) He kept winking at me and talked to me in the kind of voice someone would use to soothe a small dog. "You wouldn't want your son to l
